Warning: DO NOT READ THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE READ PART 1
Day 2 of boarding school during WW2:
I have a plan! This may be the worst idea I have ever had, or the best idea that could save the whole of England. I’m thinking of going down to the basement when it is curfew and seeing the dragons. Then, I am going to go to the library and research dragons. I may get the good beating, but I’ll deserve it.
Day 3 of boarding school during WW2:
I did it! And I didn’t get told off! The dragons are real, and the neighing… the neighing IS something magical! A unicorn! I’m really excited now! They are not chained up. The dragons or the unicorn. They could leave this building whenever they want to, so why don’t they? I still don’t understand why they are in here. It’s just really strange.
Day 4 of boarding school during WW2:
I went to the library today to see if I could find out anything more about dragons and unicorns, but I couldn’t find anything at all, not even the book I was reading the other day! It left an eerie atmosphere around all day, so I went back down into the basement to see if I could spot any clues. I found a book and it told me everything I need to know about these mystical creatures. The principle, Mrs F. J. Header , is half dragon half unicorn herself! According to the book. she gave away these dragons to King George VI when she adopted them off of her father, who is a dragon himself (this makes the dragons her brothers and sisters), and the female unicorn is her sister because her mother is a half unicorn half human! They are here because they don’t want to leave their sister!
The day after I found this out I ran as fast as I could to the top of north tower (where Mrs F. J. Header’s office is) and burst through the door. “I know what you are!” I shouted, trying not to disturb anyone else, which probably didn’t happen.
“What are you talking about?” she asked, even though she knew what I was talking about, you could see it in her eyes.
I explained everything to her and, surprisingly, she didn’t tell me off. Instead she hugged me and said,”I knew you were the one!”
I didn’t know what she was talking about, so I asked her what she meant and she explained to me that she wouldn’t be able to stop the war until someone, the chosen one, found out her true identity.
We ran down to the basement and told the dragons and the unicorn that the war can now be beaten and they can come out and live their life in the world. Mrs F. J. Header had to walk up to the main floor of the tall building and get other people that have been the chosen ones as well, but have never been able to complete their duties. They were here to ride the dragons! I was able to ride the unicorn because she bowed her head down and nudged me to get on her soft back.
Day 5 of boarding school during WW2:
I’m so happy! We won the war! The dragons and the unicorn helped us to do it even though, sadly, one of them died protecting the principle. Now that is what I call real sibling love. Right now I’m sat on my bed, with my dad, who has a new prosthetic leg; my step-brother, Lucas; my new step-mother, Mrs F. J. Header; and my new best friend Mickayla, my new roommate unicorn , who is also my auntie!
I’m so glad all this happened, now I have the perfect family, a perfect life, and a perfect story to tell.
